The International Marketing Activities Programme (IMAP) aims to encourage Trade Associations and Chambers of Commerce (TA/Cs) to work with IE Singapore in helping Singapore-incorporated companies internationalise successfully. Introduced in April 2002, IMAP provides support for TA/Cs to organise overseas business missions and Singapore Pavilions at international trade fairs.
The support is a partial reimbursement of up to 70% of eligible expenses to the TA/Cs. Savings obtained under IMAP will be disbursed by the TA/Cs to eligible Singapore-incorporated companies who participate in the TA/C-organised business missions and Singapore Pavilions.
All eligible applications submitted by the TA/Cs will be evaluated based on the following criteria: 1) Whether the activities take place in IE Singapore’s focus markets; 2) Whether the activities are in line with IE Singapore’s priority sectors; 3) The quality and international standing of the trade fair (for trade fairs only); and 4) The priority that the TA/Cs place on the activities.
The track record of the TA/Cs under IMAP and the extent to which the targets of previous activities were met will also be taken into consideration for the evaluation of the applications.
For more information on the IMAP-supported activity, please contact the organising TA/C.
