Introduction Started in 2005, the Singapore International 100 ranking is a national initiative to identify and celebrate Singapore's top 100 companies ranked by highest overseas revenue. It also recognises the top companies with the largest revenue contributions from the markets of Africa, the Americas, China, Europe, India, the Middle East, North Asia, Oceania and Southeast Asia. This year’s ranking survey will also recognise the global achievements of leading Singapore SMEs with the introduction of a new category ‘Top Ten Internationalising SMEs’. Based on highest overseas revenue, this new category is in line with the growing number of SMEs seeking growth opportunities in overseas markets. The Singapore International 100 ranking is organised by IE Singapore with DP Information as the Ranking Organisation. Through this Ranking, IE Singapore aims to raise awareness of high growth markets, and celebrate leading Singapore companies that have made internationalisation and international business an integral part of their corporate strategy. The objectives of the Singapore International 100 ranking are to: - Focus companies' attention on the importance of internationalisation
- Raise awareness of the immense opportunities that lie in key overseas markets
- Recognise and celebrate the leading Singapore companies that have made internationalisation and international business an integral part of their corporate strategy
Coming from a diverse variety of industries such as manufacturing, property, wholesale, retail, construction, logistics, transportation, shipping and finance, the combined experience of the top 100 companies serves as a key source of learning for other companies seeking to expand overseas. In addition, their operating experiences in different industry segments and geographies will also serve as benchmarks for other companies seeking to globalise. | Organiser
